An 82-year-old Kingsport woman was arrested on multiple drug charges Friday after an investigation by the Sullivan County Sheriff?s Office Vice Unit.

Pearl M. Jones, 1138 Fairview Road, Kingsport, was charged with possession of Buprenorphine with intent to resale within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of marijuana, and maintaining a dwelling where illegal drugs are sold, stored or used.

In addition to the illegal drugs, $5,260 in cash, a .380 caliber pistol, and cell phones were seized.

According to the police report, several ledgers containing details of drug transactions were also confiscated.

Jones was taken to the Sullivan County Correctional Facility. She was later released on a $25,000 bond.
